a small basic garden in child care 10 years, the "new garden project with grant & collabaration 5 months

Vegetables, Flowers, Composting Bin, Vermicomposting, Composting School Waste, Cooking or Taste Testing in Classroom, Schoolyard Plantings/Greening Project

Teachers, School Staff, Parents, Students outside of school day

How is your garden project funded?
Grants, Donations

What community connections do you have?
Food Pantries, Scout Groups

Who tends the garden when school's out?
Other volunteers, Summer campers using the garden, Summer school students, Me!

What are your future goals?
To get the hoop house up, to be able to have enough produce to sell so we may be sustainable

What is your most significant need?
More money to add more raised beds, and to fix the hoop house donated to us

Any other comments?
We received a grant this year and many donations to help us build the raised beds, and it has been a great first year, expanding and collabarating our garden project between the child care program and the school day.
