Participate in this fun event by organizing an Open House at your educational garden!  The MSGN will promote and advertise the date statewide, and schools, daycare centers, community gardens, and any other youth garden project  can take advantage of this day to open their gardens to the community.

Tours, games, food, music, demonstrations, displays, speakers, there are lots of possibilities for the day.  A great way to promote your garden and gardening curriculum to parents and the public.  Fundraising activities are also a possibility.

Coming immediately after Maine Harvest Lunch Week, this is an opportunity to connect your garden project with local farmers, healthy food, your school curriculum, and your neighbors.  It will also spread the word statewide about the great work being done around the state to get kids learning and having fun in the outdoors.
